Lyricists’ Corner, March 6: Kate Wakefield, Megan Eversole, Aaron Nell, Craig Wynne, Achilles Tenderloin

March’s Lyricists’ Corner event will be a very special night with featured songwriters Kate Wakefield, Megan Eversole, Aaron Nell, and Craig Wynne. As always, Achilles Tenderloin will host the event at New Boswell Brewery & Tap Room in Richmond and play a few songs of his own.
RSVP on Facebook!

Kate Wakefield has taken Cincinnati by storm, the past couple of years, wooing listeners with her fresh cello and vocal arrangements–and racking up a slew of impressive awards, to boot. I encourage you to check out Kate’s latest videos and recordings on Youtube, Bandcamp, and Kate’s website.

Megan Eversole’s beautiful songs have been a staple of our local music scene for over a decade, as well as at music festivals in Florida and New York. Check out Megan’s full-length Lake Worth Sessions release on cdBaby.

Aaron Nell, who frequently contributes his immense multi-instrumentalist talent at Lyricists’ Corner, will share some of his own compositions this time, as one of our featured songwriters. Trust me: you will not want to miss this precious opportunity.

Craig Wynne‘s stunning original songs are a rare treat, as well. Craig is one of the hardworking musicians who does so much to keep Richmond’s fledgling music scene alive and moving. In addition to performing frequently with a number of bands as a singer and multi-instrumentalist (Blackthorn’s Bards, The Years, and Patchwork Sunshine, to name a few), Craig also runs his own recording studio, and hosts E Street Pub’s popular weekly open mic.

Here are some incredible photos from February’s event, courtesy of Nate Stevens and Jennifer Taylor. A cozy, February edition of Lyricists’ Corner featured Dayton songwriters Jayne Sachs and Kevin Milner, alongside Richmond’s own Brentney Campbell. Aaron Nell and Cory Glisson joined the mix to add a little extra instrumental flavor. As always, Achilles Tenderloin hosted the event at New Boswell Brewery & Tap Room in Richmond and played a few songs of his own.
